Short intro:Agile structures pose challenges for managers. On the one hand, they have to meet increasingly diverging, sometimes contradictory role expectations (keywords: authenticity vs. professionalism); on the other hand, they are faced with an increasing number of agile frameworks that they have to classify. In order to be able to navigate safely and remain able to make decisions, so-called "meta-competencies" (multi-perspective, tolerance of ambiguity, self-reflexivity) are required. This workshop provides important thinking aids and practical tools for everyday agile management.

on dealing with hierarchies in agile companies
Short intro:Many descriptions of agility suggest the need to abolish rigid hierarchies in favor of a more flexible, efficient and innovative organizational structure. It is rarely explained that such general descriptions fall short. The lecture deals with the organizational requirements for functioning agility in companies. It specifically deals with the relationship between decision-making and organization in the field of tension between the most flexible corporate structures and the most efficient work processes.
